Federal $$$ to repair Central Ave. park restrooms

And nearly $1.4 million in street improvement projects will help repave and repair roadways in Linden, Plainfield, Rahway, Roselle Park, Winfield and Hillside. . .
Hillside, according to township Public Works Superintendent Scott Anderson, will use a slice of the federal money to upgrade the bathrooms at its Central Avenue playground to federal standards. That project will begin by the end of this month, said Anderson. MORE

Couldn’t have been a more appropriate grant. I guess the government realizes that Hillside is circling the bowl and they want to expedite the process.

When are they going to fix the gate by the playground? Are they just going to wait until a kid runs out and into the street.

WAT!! it took them this LONG to finally start repairing those disgusting foul bathrooms that no one wud go into unless it was a serious situation!
really?! and wen r they goin to fix the playground @ conant! its covered in graffiti!
also the playground stuff at central…the bouncing toys are almost able to bounce out of the ground…the tubes are covered in graffiti aswell and the tires holding them up are practically ready to be torn apart!! and the gate needs to be fixed like NOW!
